What is chemical fragrance?
Nearly 70% of Taiwan's incense products are imported, and only 30% are locally produced. Most of them are cheap chemical incense products that fail inspection. Chemical incense products are added with lime and combustion aids (to increase weight and reduce costs), chemical adhesives, and fragrances. The appearance is not easy to detect. It looks no different from ordinary incense products, but the fragrance irritates the eyes and nose after lighting. The incense ash falls on the back of the hand and burns the hand with high temperature. The ashes left are very long but will not break.
